So again.........Dave is an evangelical fundamentalist, based in the
US. He will not
listen to reasoned argument and will continue to post the same
invalid materials no matter how many times their falsehood is
pointed out.


His typical posting consists of material copied from creationist
websites - mainly pseudo science and frequently quotations from
credible scientists (2) that have been edited to indicate the
opposite of what the author intended.


If you are fired up with anger and feel compelled to respond (Dave
frequently makes a series of increasing unsupportable allegations
designed to provoke), the regulars here can't stop you, but please
understand that you will simply initiate an endless stream of posts
attempting to preach to anyone who is gullible enough to listen.

actually lived with dinosaurs, the Earth is 6000 years old, or there
is no

to draw you into his web, but if one directs a reply to the first
issue of (A), the subject will change (as in "Yes, but what about
B,C,D and E") and never addressing your reply to subject (A)


Any attempt to cover B,C,D, or E is doomed to failure, as he then
directs the discussion into another direction.
He'd used this exact same tactic with me and many others.

I don't have to make predictions - or use killfiles. 
I avoid reading Dave's posts and replies he gets simply
by not downloading them. 
My newsreader gets the headers first and from the headers,
I choose which bodies to dl.  
(The "Commentary" thread, I had set to "watch", so in that 
case I did see 3 Dilv posts and 3 replies, but out of 93 posts
that's tolerable. It's only a press of the spacebar to make them 
disappear.)

REPLY:  Theres a ring of truth to what i have to say Graham, because
that truth comes from The Bible which comes from the Creator of the
Universe. This is why its difficult to just ignore what is posted by
myself...not that its MY wisdom but rather wisdom from the one who is
the Theistic personal Creator of the Cosmos which always has a deep
penetrating affect and must be vehemently opposed by anyone who is
against the Creator (sadly).   Are you okay with a personal theistic
Creator existing Graham ?  Im just wondering about that.

also :  How did unintelligent Molecules and Chemicals will for our
highly personal and complex Universe to exist and be sustained (with
250 extremely narrowly defined Physics Constants ALL needed at one

explosion ?  How exactly did 'natural selection'  go about
simultaneously developing all of the 60 major anatomical systems of a
Human Being that all work collaborately with each other so you could
come to the place of pretending you have enough faith in atheism ...

lifelong Chemist, Ill expect you to give us  scientifically succinct

Yup, I am - an eternal life might be quite pleasant - just so long as
it isn't delivered by the sadistic, hateful, intolerant, racist,
sexist, game-playing, manipulative supernatural entity as portrayed by
your version of a personal deity (according to the 'truths' and the
teachings of the bible that you hold so dear). Even an objective
morality could be acceptable (depending on its having just and
equitable parametres, which would require a totally different deity to
your own).

Fortunately though I don't believe in things just because it might be
nice if they were true. And I don't disbelieve extremely powerful
alternative explanations just because I might prefer to think I'm
'somebody' beyond this brief flash of awareness. I, and the rest of us
here, are braver than that. It's a shame that some sheep prefer to
huddle together in the false comfort that can be provided by self-
delusion and believing in fairy stories.

There is no eternal life DILV. If there was, we would remember (work
it out).

Your 'ring of truth' is the hollow sound of brainwashed, programmed
theist heads, knocking together during self-help group meetings for
those terrified of real life.
