I considered myself one for 10 plus years till I realized I was quite a
bit short on FAITH in accidents.

Dave,

This really is sad.

You moved away from being an atheist because you had a completely 
erroneous understanding of how evolution works and therefore 
couldn't believe it?

So, you took up a belief in god.

Bearing mind you were being so insistent on a full understanding of 
evolution, can you let us have the good, convincing evidence *for* 
the existence of this god, and why you chose this one and not one of 
the others?

Bearing in mind your high standards, you obviously had a high 
standard of evidence to make this decision, didn't you?
