What is the purpose of not believing in the fairies at the bottom of

What is the purpose of not watching basketball?

What is the purpose of not collecting stamps?

What is the purpose of not speaking Serbo-Croat?

REPLY: Joe, If theres no reason or purpose to you becoming an
atheist, then why did you choose this for yourself ? Wouldnt a choice
that reflects a good reason or a good purpose be a more noble
decision ?

DiLV appears to have had too many wine gums again.

He seems to have a bee in his bonnet; in that he appears to believe that
unless a person is externally controlled by restrictive repressive religion
they go into a state of anarchy and dismiss all self-control to the point of
severe antisociality. It seems that he is unable to comprehend such a thing
as personal self-imposed responsibility and is personally unable to exhibit
any self-responsibility from within without the added stimulus of external
oppressive mind-control in the form of Christian Fundamentalism.

As for calling Jon "Joe"; he did this deliberately to provoke a reaction: He
once started calling me "Sherry", and several people in other groups have
blasted him for making derivations of their name: It's just more
troll-tactics from this half-baked uneducated kook.

Just becuse dimwit had no morals, no sense of right and wrong, wasn't
able to control his homosexual urges, drank too much, did whatever
drugs he abused, then found that he needed some imaginary sky fairy
and it's accompanying punishment for "sinful behavior" to save himself
from himself, he now thinks that all others must be suffering from
same deficiencies that he had with his upbringing.
Dimwit can't accept the fact that we're normal and he's the
fuckin'psycho-nutsack!

I noticed that too, and figured as much..
Dimwit's doing everything he can in desperation to elicit any kind of
response from new people

Heh. I think he's spent far too long in that lake of his. He should have
come up for air a long time ago. It's a timely reminder to us all -
check your SCUBA gear thoroughly. You don't want to end up like Dave.

That's familiar. I've met nutty Christians in the past who've made me
think "It's probably for the best".

Truth is, I didn't even notice till you pointed that out. I tend to just
go -scan-scan-scan- yep, the usual crap. Move on.

There are some true experts on dilv here. Watching him *grow up* (now
there's a notion..!) over the years provides sensitivity to his many
nuances..

Sadly I've watched him from back when he was only on webtv, getting
his fat ass banned by the owners of their groups for his fundy
preaching.
He would change his name, go back into the same groups and get his
assed booted again.
Finally Dimwit was relegated to only non-moderated group.

One underhanded trick was him using one name to agree with another one
of his names.
Such as saying something like: "I thing this Dave guy is right on with
his opinion of such and such."
When confronted, he lied and denying ever doing this, but when
presented with bounced headers, he fessed up (quite unusual for him to
ever admit to a LIE) using this as his excuse: "Well no one else would
agree with me, so I felt my response was needed and fully justified"

Like I said:
He's an asshole,
He's always been an asshole
And he always will be an asshole
