More than 40 people were taken to hospital - three with serious injuries - 
after the floor caved in at a packed concert in an Abbotsford, B.C, church 
late Friday night.

"We were dancing in the front of the stage," Kyle Weber, a teenager who was 
at the Christian rock concert, told CBC News. "The floor just collapsed. All 
the speakers just fell down [and] crashed a lot of people.... A lot of 
people fell through the floor."

At least 23 people were sent to MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, while 16 people 
were diverted to nearby hospitals in Mission, Chilliwack and Langley, local 
health officials told CBC News late Friday night. Two more were taken to 
Vancouver General Hospital.



I have just heard the pastor on the news.  He said: "It was a miracle no-one 
was killed - a miracle!"

rather suspect that this number of magical things tends to constantly

irreducibly complexifiedly made up a mousetrap.

I am willing to make a small bet with anyone that this increase in magical 
things which has risen from 4 to 132 to 250 (actually 'over 250') will 
continue to rise and that it will be over 1000 within five years.

No I didn't overlook it. I just ignored it. You can look back from 
any point and marvel at how you got there. You could do the same 
from anywhere else, or indeed anyone could do from anywhere. 
However, it is a good argument for the gullible as I'm sure they'll 
never appreciate why you can't look backwards and do the stats like 
that.

Yes.
In some sense, do you not find the notion that a *christian*  - the realm of 
speculation, faith, ideology and much more abstract, intangible belief  - 
should wish to enter into a world of scientific order, scientific debate and 
scientific discovery and commitment......?
It's as though the arguments for personal faith are lost and the only ground 
left to quarrel over is scientific (non) discovery........
Worse, not being a christian scientist [...perhaps the worst of all
