Eating kangaroos
Great quote - "It tastes excellent, not unlike venison - only a different
flavour."

What's happening with the book?

Volume One is done. Volume 2, the legal whining about the Saving Of
Money, isn't started yet.

Wanna buy a copy? £ 80. You're already in debt (says he with complete
lack of subtlety), what have you got to lose? Full colour, that's why
it's so expensive.

Sadly I'm down to 20 quid. All of my credit cards, and my bank account,
have been frozen. My case worker is on holiday, and then there's a waiting
list to get into hospital, so I'm going to have to detox at home. It's not
going to be nice. Need to get some librium and strong potassium. Thankfully
I already have a bucket.

Still - just cooked the best looking loaf of bread that I have ever done.

And two wonderful CDs have turned up - Soft Machine - Live at the Proms
1970 (probably their best album) and Howard Devoto - Jerky Versions Of The
Dream, with six extra tracks, including a superb Peel session.

Thankfully, due to Zen, I remain happy (sorry JAF). Nichi nichi kore
kōnichi - every day is a good day.

And I've managed to get hold of a load of News Quiz episodes - praise be to
Alan.

Your problems are bigger than my problems. MI5 really aren't doing
their job properly, are they?

I met a black girl from St Thomas's hospital on the bus today and we
smiled and chatted. Inside I was so embarrassed after all the posts
I've been making to this group recently.

That seems like a good sign.

Everything is relative. The worst thing that happens to someone is just
that.

As we move through life, scales fall from our eyes.

Most people are good people, once you get to know them. Never judge a book
by the cover.

Unless the cover says Jeffrey Archer is the author.

I enjoyed it myself. We used to eat a very nice dish which was made
out of squid. I must look it up.

An eccentric English Lord used to keep a boxing kangaroo at his stately
home.
