Reading Police have made a pair of arrests in the shootings of three
people, one of whom died, in 2006. Jermaine Beverly and Raul Marquez,
both 28, are already in prison on unrelated charges. Police say they
shot three people in the 100 block of South 9th Street on August 18,
2006. Terrell Little, 19, was killed in the hail of gunfire, which
police said included more than 25 shots. A five-year-old boy and a
21-year-old man were wounded. Police have said they believe Little was
the intended target in a dispute over drug territory. Beverly and
Marquez are charged with first and third degree murder and aggravated
assault.
