Fine, but referring to naked emperors is condescending crap. You're
insinuating that people are only pretending to like it, which is just
blockheaded.

If that's how some take it, fine. I'm not bothered. Am I bothered?
There's a fairly high probability that many are only pretending to like it,
to be part of the clique.
I'm not, I think it's crap.
But it's not important crap.
All those who want to listen to it, like it or not, go ahead, listen to it.
I won't.
Because I think it's pretentious crap.

Because it would be wrong to say 'all', and 'some' might not be enough.

No, in the sense that 'because I don't like it, [I] don't think others truly
can' is incorrect.
There'll always be someone who goes along with the crowd, in every field of

So who are this "crowd" who are into Supersilent? I've been into difficult
music since the mid 70's. I've never met them.

I've been pretending to like certain types of music for years, but
somehow no-one has noticed, and my clique kit hasn't turned up - perhaps
I've been wasting my time and stop pretending to like it!

Stockhausen? Schoenberg? Unless this is some sort of Sesame Street "one
of these things is different" games. (I'm aware that there's a problem
with logical positivists pretending to be into metaphysics purely for
the street cred).

The Schopenhauer clique is especially small ;-)
Come to think of it though, while I don't doubt that Hot Badger really
does like that clip he posted, I think anyone who listens to Chopin
and doesn't like it at all is probably lying.
