It's only an opinion and therefore probably worthless but in my 
experience sneering at other peoples tastes in religion, spouses, 
hobbies, wallpaper and music is more likely to reflect badly on the 
person uttering the sneers because it doesn't change tastes therefore 
such utterances are pointless.

I'll make an exception and voice my dislikes in respect of some strange 
hobbies such as bagpipe players, blokes buggering blokes, and 
foxhunting. I don't mind what the blighters get up to but I object to 
the politics of such hobbyists who want me to believe that their 
pursuits are normal.
