Good
OK - I've undoubtedly posted links to this guy's stuff before, but he
really is fantastic:

Junior Kimbrough "Sad Days, Lonely Nights"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm06GowX3gU

It's not just the guitar or the voice, it's the attitude.

You can ignore everything else I post, but listen to this...

Thank the Lhord for that. You do actually like some real music.

I like quite a range of music, from Hildegard Of Bingen , via Tom Waits, to
Anaal Nathrakh. Curiously when people find that I like some "weird"
music, they automatically assume that I only like that type of music.

Anyways, here's Anaal Nathrakh - I imagine that Marcus will like this.
They're wonderfully over the top. The cover to "Codex Necro" says it all,
really:

And here's the music.

It was more that just about everything you mention fits into the "vile noise"
category. Apart from the punk.

I think I prefer Napalm Death.

Try the following - "controversial" black metal band Burzum from Norway
(the singer killed another bloke with a sword, and (allegedly) burned down
some churches - also a Rather Right Wing Looney).

<muso>
The guitar sound is wonderfully grey.

Whatever *that* means. Irritating, more like.
