autocratic social workers
How come we have a system in place where that the child in care can dictate
the terms in which the mother can be denied contact with her ( for nearly 2
years). This not being the case of a mother having any unsavory trates but
quote the "The childs wishs are paramount". There seems to be no legal way
of getting contact. This means that in our case the child will probably
never be re-united with her mother as she is now established with her
carers. 125 miles away and nearly17 years old. no need to tell us see a
solictor as they quote "The childs wishes are paramount ect". I thought that
the reason for child care proceedings was to keep the child from harm. Not
as in this case to destroy family life. Any comments or views.
