I think that: Has Political Correctness simply gone MAD?  My son was admitted to hospital, and I had to give PERMISSION(due to patient privacy)for his name to be written on the ward board so staff knew where he was. 
Because: If you are in hospital you need treatment!  Staff need to know who is where, for medication, treatment, food etc! You should NOT be able to opt out, and if you want to I would have to ask why!?
