I think that: Exactly! A 4 year old is suffering for their selfishness and now we have their 'loss' forced on us every day.
Because: You DO NOT leave your children alone at this age under ANY circumstances.  If these people had been bus drivers or people on benefits, social services would have been down on them like a ton of bricks.  Just because they are doctors they cannot be allowed to get away with such apalling behaviour.
