ethnic minorities are allowed to apply, and Whites are specifically 
banned from the job.

The advertisement, which you can find here, says that the job offers 
“work experience in one of the busiest press offices in the UK, 
highlighting transport issues across our Capital.”

The job is for “Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Students” and 
continues: “We are offering two six-month internships starting in March 
2008. If you are a student or a recent graduate of Black, Asian or 
Minority Ethnic (BAME) origin, with a passion for London and an 
interest in media and PR, we would like to hear from you.”

The training which a suitable candidate will get is described as 
follows: “You will get essential skills to start a career in PR. Based 
in one of the country’s five busiest press offices, you will get a 
sense of what working in a high-pressured PR environment is like. You 
will get essential skills to start a career in PR.

You’ll work on stories and events affecting the Capital’s transport 
network and gain a range of experience from writing press releases and 
dealing with journalists to working with different types of media.

You will also get:

* a bursary to cover subsistence and living expenses

* free travel in London

* mentoring.”

It continues: “To be eligible to apply for this role you must be

* a permanent resident of the United Kingdom

* ideally of graduate calibre (with ‘A’ levels or equivalent), an

Show me an advertisement in a newspaper for a government job that says 
"whites only", you know it never happens. But I can show you a dozen 
job adverts for government jobs/benefits/training that say "ethnic 
minorities only", anyone who reads job adverts sees them.

In the new South Africa they have 'positive discrimination' which 
basically means that if you are black/coloured you are treated 
advantageously.

Show me a high court judge who isn't white.
The job may not be adverttised as white only, but the people who get
given the jobs are only white.

And which political party leader in parliament is non-white?

Funny really, government tends to concentrate resources where most
needed rather than across the board. Certain groups, including ethnic
minorities, have higher unemployment. Certain groups, again including
ethnic minorities, have much lower numbers taking particular courses.
So some things are pushed for those groups. And ethnic minorities
aren't the only ones - there are other minority groups too. Disabled
are a minority group, with courses, jobs and benefits pushed for them.
More of them than ethnic groups too.

Looks like I'm benefitting from being able to spell better than you.

We have positive discrimination here too. Based on many things, colour
being one of them but disability, sex, who your parents are, who you
are, where you live, what you do, what you've done and so on have all
had positive discrimination as well as negative.

Whats your point here, we have black judges, magistrates, MP's etc, we have 
had 2 Scottish PM's, one of them is currently running the country further 
into the ground, if thats possible. Are you suggesting that we should turn 
the country over to ethnic minorities, lock stock and barrel. Might be a 
good idea, I quite like the idea of becoming an Islamic extremist.

And can't recall any prime minister from ethnic backgrounds. Though we

business would have to be insane to stick with British products.

elsewhere.
