Working on the side to make ends meet
The cost of utilities and food is constantly rising, is it correct that one
is now allowed to work for cash in hand as long as it only covers the extra
cost of gas and electric.

Sure, so long as you declare your earnings to the JC so they know what
you are doing.
And can make adjustments to benefit if necessary.

Course, could be like others on low income (disabled, pensioners and
so on) who just reduce their gas/lecky usage or divert money from
other things to pay the bill.

Oh, and take care the income tax increase from April doesn't affect
your income. :)

Go self employed then. Local shopkeeper perhaps - that can be 7 day a
week 12 hours+ per day job, what with all that needs doing.
In the beginning anyway. :)

Its not the super tax bracket you have to worry about. Its the tax
bracket to start off with.
Higher payment for income tax for lowest paid.

Oh I see, line of work, well it depends, a lot of job titles or jobs have
not been created / invented yet, ASBO officer looks good, what one is
supposed to achieve, no one knows, its a challenge to invent your own work
but I am working on it.
