hubby is on ssp at a rate of 83 86 ,just me and him at home
is there any other help we are entitled to ?????

bit awkward to follow this as hubby has only received ssp from 1st week 
august ,2007 before that earning where 300 per week
should we get income support?

You may be able to claim Income Support to bring your weekly income up 
to £92.80. You usually have to claim IS over the telephone these days, 
then a copy of the claim is sent out to you.

You may be entitled-to Council-Tax Benefit, and Housing Benefit if you 
pay rent. These are both claimed from your council.

Just a thought, but posting generic web-links to questions seems to 
kill-off Usenet groups. I have seen it happen in another group where 
every new poster was directed elsewhere, and as there were no good 
questions, the experts left, and then there was nothing to post for. 
This group is already quieter than it was, perhaps because Usenet isn't 
bundled with as many ISP deals as it once was.
