Paying money into basic account
I have recently opened a co op cashminder account in order to put my
income support etc into it instead of using card account.

I know they want sort code and acc no to facilitate this.

My sort code is given as 08-92-49 on my electron card .Is this how i
should enter it on the form or will 089249 do?

Also how long does it take for direct payment into one's account to be
sorted?

Thank you.

It dpesn't really matter, though if you have the option of entering the
sort code as 08-92-49 I would do that.

As for length of time, it depends on backlogs of work etc but 3 weeks
used to be about the norm around here and that was when lots of people
were transferring from books to bank. It will probably be quicker now.
