Community Councils
Are these brand new all over the place or have they been running for
some time. Does anyone have any experience of them?

Ours was advertised in the printed magazine that came through the door
from the council. They appear to have changed the dates of some of
them - only if you look online do you find this out - or presumably if
you turn up on the night advertised and find it's not there.

I was at a meeting recently where they're after getting more residents
to attend and were discussing locations and whether varying them
around the ward was a good idea to make it easier to get to for people
so that they might come along.
I don't think it's the location that proves to be the problem - unless
they're admitting that the public transport service isn't up to
ferrying people around the ward. It would appear letting people know
about the date of the meeting and any changes is the problem.
