Advice, child benefit
Hi,

Basically I have 2 children 3 years and 15 months, who'm I give the mother
money for them £20 a week. We are both on benefit. When they initially
ocntacted her she said she did't give the, my details. They contacted her a
few more times and she still didn;t give them my details.

She received a letter this week saying her income support has been
recaluculated at £35 and a few pence which was at £59 and a bit.

I told her to just name me and as I'm on benefit it'll probly be a £10
deduction from my benefits which I read on one of the benfite help sites.

But she said if she names me they will know she has been lieing, and
aparantly that can cause more troubles like causing her benefits to stop.

Whats the best course of action to take here so she gets her full benefit ?

Appreciate any advice, bit of a bombshell before xmas and I guess they've
shut up shop till after christmas now.
