Quick Question ...?
Hi

(You may have to read this 2 or 3 times, as I'm not too clear in explaining
myself !)

I have offered to pay my ex £175 per week maintenance for our 13 Year Old
Daughter.
According to the CSA website calculator, I am supposed to pay £100. I am
paying therefore an additional £75.

My ex is demanding more, on the basis that I was earning considerably more
when we split up, however, I have changed my life style, and have no desire
to work myself stupid, and into an early grave. So I have "down sized" my
business , my job and my life style.

I have been paying my ex £175 per week, since September this year,(when I
downsized my job etc) previously I was paying her double this amount.I have
receipts for all the money paid to her.

So, I am happy to pay £175 per week, which I think is a fair amount of
money. Indeed, its £75 a week more than what the CSA say I "should" be
paying her. However, she now wants more money, and is threatening to go to
the CSA. (I have provided her solicitor with all my financial information,
Payslips , Bank statements etc, yet this doesn't see to satisfy my
ex.Although quite frankly her solicitor does seem to be much good or
attentive to what's in front of them !).

Where do I stand if she trots to the CSA, and where does she stand if the
CSA gets involved, given that she's working Part Time? (Can but won't get a
F/Time job).

Thanks

Adrian

Another greedy cow!

For one child CSA want 15% of your take home, period.

So tell her to go fly a kite.

You don't have to provide her or her brief with any information at all.

Oh and make sure those receipts state 'for child support' or they are
useless

If the cow does, or is stupid enough to do this I'd start playing the
procrastination game with CSA, by all means pay but by cheque, never direct
debit and make them very uneven and irregular payments, 3 one month 5 the
next in varying amounts occasionally go technically into arrears, this
almost certainly ensures her payments will be delayed if she actually ever
gets paid at all and might help focus her thinking. It also irritates CSA.
