GIVE business to wife and work for her
Can I surrender my 50% share in my business to my wife and become her
employee?

If so, how would the CSA treat this setup?

Re: GIVE business to wife and work for her
They can only asses you on your income so if she legally owns the bussiness
and you get minimum wages they have to asses you on minimum.

But you cant just give it to her as they could come at you for trying to
avoid payment but you can sell it, even for £1.00 so long as you don't tell
them it was to avoid their payments.

However if this marrage goes tits up you then have nothing, no company and
no job vs £1500 csa payment max.

What about coming to an arrangement with you ex, tell her you could become
minum wage in which case she'd get almost nothing or you pay a reasonable
amount say £600 a month and she signs out of CSA. that's so long as she is
not claiming benefits or CSA are automaticaly involved.
