Data Protection Act - Telephone Recordings
I just wanted to point out to people that if you ask the CSA for any
information they store about you under the Data Protection Act they
will simple send the computer and clerical records. However, they also
record their telephone conversations with clients and you are entitled
to receive a copy of these. However, they will only send them if you
specifically ask for them because of the amount of work this involves.
They are presently taking about 6 weeks to send the computer and
clerical files from the date of request. I don't know how long it will
take them to find all the recordings for a particular case as I'm
still awaiting mine.

I guess the important thing is to demand actual copies of the
conversations too; after all, who'd trust the scumsuckers to
transcribe the recordings honestly.
