Can someone offer me some help/advice please..?

I received a letter in November 06 stating how much arrears I owed - 
£600.  I requested a breakdown of my account in January 07 and received 
this in August 07 - the amount of the arrears has increased to £2700.  I 
can't get a straight from the CSA as to the how/why this has happened - 
my account was 'closed' in January 07.

Do you have in writing from CSA that the account was closed in January?

if not it's probably still running and accruing arrears.

Write again to CSA get conformation of the closure and ask for a breakdown 
of these arrears, demand to know dates and amounts also go see your MP, 
follow up this visit with a letter.

CSA cannot be trusted in any way at all, it's essential you get everything 
in writing as they lie, cheat and deny, they are a foul disgusting 
organisation.

Make sure that your case closed correctly, I'm guessing that if it didn't 
then that's where your arrears may have come from.
