disabled child departure
I have 1 child from a previous relationship and 2 children with my
fiancee. Since my last child was born my csa has gone down and the PWC
is not happy at all as she was relying on the money to finance her new
car. She applied for a departure on the grounds of unreasonable
housing costs. After reading her opinions and false information
supplied on the form I realised I may also request a departure as I
have a disabled child with my fiancee.

My questions are;

What allowance is given for a disabled child my household?

Will the PWC get a copy of all my childs confidential medical details
as requested by the CSA?

What proof do the CSA require?

I am on CSA1 and take home £200 per week if I have not taken unpaid
time off work to attend hospital/ therapy with my child. My fiancee
has refused to give her income details so I believe I am assessed
under an IMA.

Thanks for any advice

Re: disabled child departure
On CS1 you can put in a claim for Special expenses relating to increased
costs incurred due to the Childs disability, nothing on CS2

Details should be covered by data protection, but nothing is certain when
dealing with the Gestapo they constantly make mistakes and often information
the ex partner is restricted from seeing by CSA has to be available if a
case goes to a tribunal. You cannot be sure info will not be given to the
other party in any dealings with this mob.

CSA will need proof of those Special expenses.

Re: disabled child departure
PROOF - award notice of Diability Living Allowance -

Im a Parent with care and the only affect disability has in my case is
that if I have income the disregard is increased in line with income
support disregard rates

My advice to you - join NACSA - they are very helpful and very
knowledgeable in the legal aspects of the CSA calculations - dont
waste your time talking to the CSA - from personal and very bitter
experience - I can tell you they will tell you anything to get you off
the phone
