CSA goes into meltdown - MPs go on holiday
On 23th July James Plaskitt (Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Department
for Work and Pensions) reaffirmed that 'Naming and shaming was 'to be
seen as part of the broader programme to build a stronger culture of
compliance amongst non-resident parents' ... see..
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/wrans/?id=2007-07-23b.146437.h&s=csa#g146437.r0
Just three days on 26th July later came an astonishing U turn as he
conceeded that the department was 'Questioning its potential
effectiveness....and will not publish further names at this time' ...
see
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/wrans/?id=2007-07-26b.153472.h&s=csa#g153472.r0
With not one mother named and shamed it will be intersting to see how
many MPs raise the obvious question... Why Not?
This news was lost in the blanket media coverage given to the worst
ever flooding in the history of the world (40 miles from London) as
were more stories of outragous and possibly criminal activity by CSA
officers ... the following is well worth reading ...
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/whall/?id=2007-07-24a.230.0&s=csa#g233.0
Note a letter a father claims he never wrote to the CSA has been
passed to a criminal investgation team.
It will be interesting if Goverment Ministers will be as enthusiastic
about encouraging criminal proeedings against their own employees as
they have been fathers.
Two very interesting observations by the MP who raised this in the
House were..
'The only part of the agency that seems to be able to function is the
arm that takes people to court'... and that....
the father was 'unable to obtain either direct answers to his
questions from CSA staff, or indeed a copy of a letter that the CSA
claimed he wrote in 2004.
Spot on ... but what have Blair, Brown and Labour MPs being doing
about this for the last 3 years - or do they condone such conduct by
their employees?

Re: CSA goes into meltdown - MPs go on holiday
Hmmmm, typical Government.
It's U turn alright and another CSA fiasco, another complete shambles, badly
thought out by people who just do not understand anything at all about
CHILDREN living in split households.
So the few in government who do have a brain have convince them this is a
very stupid course of action but now they want it to quietly just go away so
they announce, very quietly 'and will not publish further names at this
time' ... Presumably meaning the current list is to remain so these MEN are
to continue to be abused by this government even although they are burying
the policy
DISGUSTING DISCRIMINATING SHODDY GOVERNMENT BEHAVIOUR!!!
To admit it's failed and won't continue yet still continue persecute 40
indeviduals to save face, only dumbfuck MP's could be such urtter bastards.
Perhaps we should give them a little time, until there holidays are over and
if they don't remove this we go a head and publish a token sample of their
staff, like three lists, making 40 in total and every week we start filling
in the personal profiles and we can leave them on public display, or hung
out to dry - tit for tat for the 40 the government are abusing!
Or maybe we say 'sod it' and just go full steam with the lot, lets get some
mothers up on the web, lets get some Accessd deniers up on the web, maybe 20
of each as ballance!
