Letter to those so named going out next week.
Dear Sir,
This is not an advert and may involve your good name.
The Child Support Agency have begun a campaign of name and shame against
fathers who have been found guilty in court of various offences against the
CSA, presently information offences.
The Published details on their website include only name, town and the
outcome of the court case i.e. fine etc.
This implies that anyone in that town by that name could be guilty of an
offence. A government agency could be defaming you.
We have identified that situation might apply to you as your surname and
first initial is listed on that website.
Please check your name
http://csa.gov.uk/en/about/recent-prosecutions/latest.asp
If it is the case that you have that exact name, live in the specified town
and have no conviction relating to the stated court outcome we urge that you
seek legal advice as you most certainly do have a claim under the defamation
act and may recover substantial damages from the CSA.
If you are the person named by the CSA we urge you to register on
http://www.onwww.co.uk as we are an organisation currently seeking to change
CSA behaviour and laws. At www.onwww.co.uk we intend to give anyone so named
by this agency a platform to fight back and we look forward to hearing from
you.
