Redundancy
Hi

I've just been given notice that I'm going to be made redundant at the
end of June. Will the CSA be trying to grab a proportion of my
redundancy money? What should I do about the level of my assessment as
I sure as hell won't be able to afford it as June!

Regards
Gilbert

Re: Redundancy
CSA can only include monies paid to you in lieu of notice. the rest of your
redundancy package cannot be used for child support purposes, although if
you invest the money - any interest generated can be treated as income.

as soon as the redundancy is made, you notify CSA by phone, followed by
letter sent recorded delivery (and receipt kept at all times) and if no
acknowledgement is forthcoming in the shape of a new assessment - chase
them.
