Ermm, I don't think that the human race will be extinct until
sometime after I am dead.  I'm almost 100% sure of that ... !!

So, I reckon that I (at least) am *not*  "doomed to extinction"
 -- and actually, that there is a 100% chance that well over
99.9999999% of those humans alive today aren't, either!

Yes indeed.

Mind you, if you take "extinct" to have its usual meaning of
the [human, in this case] race dying out, of no specimens
surviving, then it *has to* be "all".  It's not possible for
some of us humans to be extinct and others of us not.  So the
word "all" is superfluous here, unless it's intended to
apply to "all races which inhabit the Earth".

Was it suggested that the extinction should occur before your
death?  Again, using the usual definition that would be impossible,
assuming, if that doesn't come as an insult, that you count as
a member of the human race.  I've had my doubts about that!  :-)

If, on the other hand, we take "extinct" in the individual sense,
of each of our lives being extinguished, then I reckon the chance
of even only 90% of humans alive today *not* being extinct by the
time you're dead are pretty slim.
