Ever wondered where the troll and pro hunt nut Malcolm Kane came from?
Looks like yet another bully boy who likes to play with children as a
job. Is it right that the lunatic we know as Kane is allowed near
children. It's also worth noting he crawled out of UBA many years ago!

Hi
I have been a lurker on this group for some time. I teach "Rural
Studies" to 15 and 16 year olds. Basically this means the GCSE
Agriculture and Horticulture syllabus. This week through the post I
received notification that the syllabus was to cease to exist after
the
year 2002, because of lack of demand.
Obviously resistance is being organised. Interested parties (to me
this
means anyone with an interest in seeing the next generation having an
interest in agriculture) are asked to protest to anyone and everyone.
Particularly their MP's the organisations QCA and NEAB, even David
Blunket. Can I urge those who feel strongly enough to take up the
cause
to do this. I do not have the address for QCA and NEAB to hand, I
will
post them later if anyone is interested.
For myself it is too late. Our headmaster has decided to advise the
governors to close our unit, make my stockman redundant and cease to
offer the subject from September this year, and this in rural Cumbria.
I doubt that there is anything I can do to reverse this decision.
However I would like other students to be given the opportunity so
please do what you can.
If this is an inappropriate place to raise this please point me to a
better, but the group seems so concerned about the future of
agriculture
that I felt this would be a good place to ask for help.
At least posting has done wonders for my blood pressure.
