Malcolm Kane's agendas
Malcolm Kane from Penrith has two agendas

1. From the selfish point of view he rents out a timber chalet for
holidays in the Lake District and is a partner in the Gem Den, a
trinket shop in Penrith, so doesn't want anything that can detract
from the area that could adversely affect tourism. That's one reason
why he supports hunting and the killing of grey squirrels to support
red squirrels and anything that can bring in tourism to the area. He
also supports organisations that increase the human footprint in wild
places, in the name of "conservation", for his own selfish agenda.

2. He is an ardent hater of animal rights and constantly makes the
case for repealing the Hunting Act. He supports the view that foxes
should be ripped to pieces by hounds - Bristol University confirmed
this happens to foxes by autopsies for the Burns Inquiry - and even
dismisses the statement from the Blencathra Foxhounds who have adapted
to the change in the law as dishonest - suggesting that they might be
breaking the law behind the scenes.

A greedy little guy full of hate!

Kane's response to a posting of mine praising the Blencathra Hunt for
adapting to the Hunting Act is shown below.

In your dreams - that is if you think banning hunting has stopped
people killing foxes. It hasn't and many die a much more horrible
death from gun shot wounds. At least with hounds they either die or
escape.

Again don't let the facts get in the way of good propaganda.

Probably not because of the fire risk to a timber building.

Oh dear Angus claims he is so unconcerned about what I post he doesn't
even read my posts. This would appear to be desperation in the extreme.

Incidentally the jewellers relies on local return customers what on
earth made you think it would be tourism.

> That's one reason
>why he supports hunting and the killing of grey squirrels to support

Angus thinks he is a mind reader. If the casual reader cares to dig
deep enough he will find posts where I have said I didn't support
hunting until the posts from one Angus Macmillan ( I won't be rude
enough to post all the personal details I know about him - unlike some
desperate souls). Posts from Angus caused me to look more deeply into
fox hunting then I realised that hunting resulted in the death of fewer
foxes and the kills were cleaner.

In view of what I found I feel hunting is the best way of controlling
fox numbers. I do not follow a hunt or support one financial but I do
recognise hunting as the method of killing foxes which is kindest to the
fox. Both from the fact no foxes escape wounded to die a lingering
death and fewer foxes are killed.

I support the killing of grey squirrels because simply in some
circumstances they are economic pest and because they are carrying a
virus which the reds have no immunity to. The greys a present in their
native USA in large numbers and are introduced to UK I see no reason why
the reds should be allowed to become extinct when we can try to help. I
do not believe in the AR ideals which lead to terrorism and body
snatching.

>red squirrels and anything that can bring in tourism to the area. He

I support conservation for the sake of conservation. Angus poor soul
believes that he can read my mind. I fail to see how conservation which
I support which say takes place in Dorset or the highlands has any
effect on "quote my own selfish agenda".

>

>2. He is an ardent hater of animal rights and constantly makes the

True I hate people who dig up Grannies, post fire bombs, cause criminal
damage and are part of the reason we have the extremely damaging mink
loose in the UK.

I would expect any right minded person to do so.

The Hunting Act. A lie from Angus. I have never stated the hunting act
should be repealed. All I have ever done is point out the situation
which Angus' own posts lead me to discover.

Re read what I said Angus. You must be reading my posts - oh hang on
you said you don't. A cynic might suggest that there was a lie in there
somewhere. I however couldn't possibly comment.

Do you? Do you think that every farmer who has a fox problem isn't
taking pot shots at them rather than asking the hunt to call? Do you
think they don't take a pot shot at any they see to be on the safe side?

In the past they asked the hunt to pass through if they had a problem
The hunt didn't always catch anything.

I notice you can't counter this statement.

For the casual reader. Angus has been desperate to try to stop me
posting for a long time.

He began by not answering my posts. Fair enough he doesn't have to. He
has claimed he doesn't read my posts but here is obvious evidence that
he does. He has sent me letters threatening legal action because I had
the temerity to suggest things about his attitude and its effect on wild
life. (Note for Angus unlike you I do keep my word).

He starts threads based on personal abuse. Look for a few which mention
mad Penrith jewellers. More than once he has tried this tack of posting
personal details.

Angus it won't work. I will post on a public forum my own views which
as I have told you many times before are based on personal practical
experience and many years of study.

Nice try but expect to see me posting for a long time. With of course
gaps if/when I am busy or away.

I will not be intimidated. However I will make you a promise. one of
these days you will push me too far with regard to the childish
publishing of details and abuse. If/when that happens I will retaliate.

If you can't take public debate on what you post go to a newsgroup which
is more to your liking. As most of your posts aren't about conservation
one on AR might be better.

Have a nice day.

All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Just the sort of threat we'd expect to see from a newsgroup bully, a
liar, cheat, fraud and pro hunt bully. If anyone is silly enough to
buy jewelry from jgj-jewellers.demon.co.uk or even rent a chalet from
http://www.ambernook.co.uk/ run by this nasty pro hunt piece of work,
I'd think twice.

Imagine if you were dealing with him and he found out you didn't agree
with bloodspots & bullying!

Ha ha ha that's got to be the best poke in the eye of the day.

Oh well they were warned about glass houses.

Wont be long before he is infamous throughout Usenet!

Yes. But since he's stalking me on a daily basis on this ng perhaps I
should stalk him in return and go through his catalogue and show the
price benefits of buying elsewhere.

Here's a good start:

All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Scandalous rip off. So let me get this straight. The Malcolm Kane (pro
hunt extremist and newsgroup bully) passing himself off as The Gem Den
31 King Street Penrith Cumbria CA11 7AY United Kingdom
Phone:01768 899989 Fax: 01768 862111 Email:
Sue@jgj-jewellers.demon.co.uk
613 6422 49

jgj-jewellers and others expects us to pay almost double for the same
product and even then customer service is clearly non existent. The
best you could hope for would be a mouthful of abuse!

I wonder what *Cloud Dome* which is an American based firm would have
to say if they were presented, anonymously with this lunatics history
from Google?

I'm having second thoughts about staying at Amber Nook the supposedly
attractive recently built holiday accomodation near Penrith on the
edge of the English Lake District in Cumbria. Even though the property
is in a development of similar lodges in a rural setting at Yanwath,
beteween the Lakes and the Eden Valley. I wonder if the landowners and
other residents are aware they have a pro hunt extremist and newsgroup
bully in their midst? I also note he is careful to put his partners
name to all the businesses, the sign of a real man, he claims The
Owners: Sue & Malcolm Kane E-mail sue@ambernook.co.uk
can be contacted with any questions. Well I for one have plenty.

Not to mention the dodgy grammar and spelling mistakes in the advert!

Just the sort of threat we'd expect to see from a newsgroup bully, a
