Of course I did. But that doesn't mean the other part was relevant. If
you remember what I said, when they finished the greys they'll start
in the reds - or words to that effect. They're tree animals and very
capable of catching reds in the trees.

But while there's grants to be screwed the researchers won't want to
bother about that just now :-((

Very little compared with what they could earn.

But the article you selectively quoted gave details which you ignored that
qualidfied what you said.

Don't kid yourself. Many are the dregs of the academic world and
lucky to have a job at all.

It didn't "qualify" anything because the reason is quite clear. If
martens are not where red squirrels are they won't eat them There
were not many, if any, in the North West of Scotland.

Given Semens qualifications and aptitude he can consider himself lucky
he got an unpaid job looking after a bit of wasteland. They hardly
trust him with a nature reserve would they!

By definition it's the fat cats who get the money, and the no brainers
who stand sentry duty in isolated places where they can do least harm
and are too stupid to realise.

Robert Seago has told this ng that one reserve only get £120 a year
for maintenance. I wonder what the Chief Executive get for his
salary. A lot more than he's worth, I'll bet.

Around £85 if memory serves me correct! Doesn't take much to work out
who's fooling who does it? LOL

Mind you if Semen had a brain he'd be dangerous!

That's easy. One could safely presume your worth is even less than

Not at all. Compared with what is spent on the nature reserve, it's
probably at least 400 times that amount. Some people might find that
obscene for a wildlife trust.

Are you saying that a wildlife trust that pays it's CEO ,say, £50k a
year or more should only pay £120 a year for maintenance of one of its
reserves?

That shows what the money making scam of nature reserves is all about
IMO

That's a good point. Lets base that figure for each of it's reserves
and that leaves one big fat cat pot of cream for the top branch!
