Farming Wildlife
I just had a week walking around the Gower Peninsula.

One walk took us past a field absolutely crammed with small birds,
literally hundreds and hundreds of them so they looked like a swarm of
flies.

The note on the gate said that the field had been deliberately planted
with seed-producing plants and sprays had been used to take out or
inhibit unsuitable weeds.

Its nice to see that it can be done, and done well, which is what a
thread on UBA (or may even have been sci.agriculture) concluded may
years ago. Better than organic by far.

Turnbulls Climate Change Masturbation Ignores Coal & Clear-Felling
Is just like opposing whale hunting but excluding whales. Your dishonesty
will continue to be exposed Turnbull. The country with the worlds biggest
CO2 production per head is also the worlds biggest CO2 exporter, in the
form of coal and wood chips. What are you doing about it Turnbull?
Converting some of the woodchips to pulp doesn't make less CO2. You are
totally ineffective on the issue of climate change and Garrett is just
cloning your inaction. Two parties and as usual, one policy.

Well, supporting our largest export income.

Converting them in Tasmania instead of Japan (as currently) certainly does,
because it reduces transport associated CO2 emmissions.

Hardly surprising. Its obviously the correct policy.
