we do when

options:
(a) try
 and catch

remnants
and make a
fast
profit
before
they're
all gone,
or
 (b) try
and
preserve a
breeding
stock.
Most
people opt
for (a), a
few for
 (b).
   Should
we all
become
vegetarian
s?  Not
necessaril
y, as
domestic
livestock
 have a
guaranteed
survival
prospect,
as we have
a vested
interest
in

preserving
the
species.
Export of
live
animals to
the Middle
East, for

maltreatme
nt there?
No. Give
the
animals
humane
slaughter
here, and
export
 frozen
carcasses.
 Why
should we
kow-tow to
wealthy
barbarians
?  What
with
 drought,
we can
reduce our
production
, and
cater
solely for
Australian

consumptio
n.
   Yes,
all non-
human
species,
including
botanics,
will have
their
revenge
 when the
Apeman
dies out.
   Not
gonna
happen?
The trend
