False Tory promises advertised?
Telegraph wrote BST 07/10/2007 in the lead article:

No election, but battle for Britain has begun

"There is now a clear divide between the two main political parties on
the future direction of Britain: one believes that a powerful,
controlling state is the best way to achieve a socially just society;
the other that power should be devolved to local communities and to
individual citizens."

I&R ~ GB would like to ask:

What evidence is there that the Conservative Party if elected would
devolve power to "individual citizens"? Exactly how would they do this?

I'm not sure that the divide is as clear as that at all.
Both of our main parties pursue policies which accrue more power
to the state.

Evidence to date are vague words. Actions will speak much louder.

I would piss all over these New Liebour Communists. They are the
biggest threat to the UK and not the average Joe /Jane. Just look how
New Liebour have destroyed the UK in just 10 short years, the place is
unrecogniseable.

Uncontrolled immigration, the roll-out of the New Liebour police
state, the police priority of collecting money for New Liebour from
soft people instead of cracking down on real criminals, theft of
people's pensions and savings, the list is endless.
