MrBlueSkye says Toodle pip and goodbye.
For many years (since Micronet days) I have been bouncing around the
Newsgroups. To all of you who know me or have heard of me I bid you a fond
farewell in advance. Unfortunately its looking like MrBlueSkye will be
clocking off for good shortly. A recent emergency visit and hospital stay in
my local cardiac unit has revealed that I have an Aortic root aneurism that
has billowed to 60mm instead of the 20mm it should be, it doesnt help that
I also have Stenosis of my aortic valve which also needs replacing and also
need a bypass. Any aortic aneurism is considered dangerous, but a 60mm one
is considered to be extremely dangerous and ready to rupture at any time,
meaning the end for me. Normally open heart surgery has a good chance of
rectifying my 3 heart problems, but as my health has been poor for sometime
and my general physical condition is not good enough, the surgeons will not
operate on me. Im posting this to quite a few ngs partly as a way of
saying:
Hello I Paul Jones (MrBlueSkye) was here.
My other motive (and I am embarrassed to have to ask this) But needs must.
Is to ask any of you that can afford it to send me what you can. My
financial position is that I am in debt to one of the major Banks for a
large sum of money (of course this will end with my death) This was brought
about when a Company called Charter Furniture who were operated by out and
out scoundrels (they were in turn owned by Cheshire County Councils pension
fund) went to the wall leaving my small family business with a debt of £86k.
I was forced to close, left penniless and saddled with a very large bank
debt. Im asking for anything you can afford to pay some bills as I will be
leaving 2 sons and a wife who will struggle. Now I know there will be many
cynics reading this, to you I say please dont send a load of abuse and
negativity, the latter is something I have to much of at the moment. Just
hope it never happens to you. I am posting this also to a number of police
and legal groups, and Im sure that some suspicious bright spark out there
will be checking out the facts therein.
For those that do contribute many thanks in advance, for those who dont a
kind thought and little prayer will be fine.

That I can do, but the rest of the story absolutely stinks I'm sorry to say.
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this but most no doubt will be
too polite to say it and will ponder in silence.
I might suggest too much of a Nigerian scam tone to it. And would
suggest anyone nearly contemplating a sympathetic leaning towards the
post be very very cautious.
Preying on peoples inner nature and protection of anothers siblings.
I've seen many a similar scam letter but this really has to be the best
to date.
In fact, normally I would just ignore such posts, but something deep
inside is telling me that this really _is_ something that everyone needs
to ignore and NOT give way to any emotional manipulation caused by this
very cleverly worded scam.
As for A Cheshire county council owning a a small business well, that
HAS to be the biggest give away.
Then there's the bit about it being posted to "police and legal groups"
FFS. It's a mass mailing to hit serveral thousand readers and offers an
easy way to pay money via pay-pal and bank transfer.
It absolutely STINKS and I hope the purpetraitor (sp) get's exactly what
he/she deserves.

"MrBlueSkye",
I think the name is apt for an old scammer- even *if* you are truly ill.
;-)
BTW, what's the name and address of your bank so that I can send my
donation (titter) directly to the account? LOL
A rather cynical
Tanner-'op
Who will gladly accept any monetary donations to his kitchen repair and
redecoration fund from those soft hearted people of this group.
The reason for this request for alms: the wife has gone into overdraw mode,
and the government has refused my request to bail me out of trouble by
nationalising her - bloody Labour government!

Also a "Mr Blue Sky" posts on an anti-fraud site publicizing such scams,
including ones from a Paul Jones (aka Greg Allen perhaps also aka Paul
Smith?). Getting his own back?

I'm not defending him or his motives, but he didn't say that.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "MrBlueSkye"
saying something like:
>Now I know there will be many
>cynics reading this, to you I say please dont send a load of abuse and

Too bad.
If your story is true you have my sympathy, but not my coin.
