CV Writing, is it worth it?
I have been contacted by a cv writing/design service who pointed out
several good points as drawbacks to my cv being effective. In fact since
their advice I quite accept my cv is a bit of a mess. Trouble is they
are quoting over £200 for a consultant to conduct a one hour telephone
interview and produce the cv that will get me higher rates and more
interviews per job-search. Bearing in mind that I am not confident that
I can revamp my cv myself, is £200 exorbitant considering there can be
no guarantees of success?
My Job-hunting is in IT networking BTW, and I am in a short term
contract currently,
