Returning to contracting; finding part-time work?
Hi all
    I'm a versatile SW Engineer/Embedded systems Engineer/project
leader with a wide portfolio of skills. I was a contractor for a couple
for years in the early 2000's, and then returned to permanent
employment when the company I was contracting for offered me a position
I chose to accept.

I left their employment a while ago and am interested in returning to
contracting. However I would prefer part-time work as I have other
commitments at the moment.

I appreciate this makes me a less attractive proposition for most
places, and I expect to have to keep my rates on the low side
accordingly.

I've only just brushed up my CV and started looking at the agencies
etc. and unsurprisingly there seems to be little part-time contract
work available. I'm quite prepared to try unusual routes to find
someone interested in my combination of skills; I wondered if anyone
out there has any specific suggestions that I could try?

I'm based in East Sussex BTW.

    Thanks
    J^n
