Ever had an interview for a non-job?
I had an interview the other day for an interesting sounding permanent
job (arranged via an agency).

During the interview I was told everything was hush hush because the
company hadn't yet won the contract. Hence they are interviewing
loads of people in case they do win it because they want to hit the
ground running.

I feel like I have been lied to. Am I entitled to feel annoyed?
Would you?

(I reminds me of the time many years ago when I was asked to do a
presentation in an interview on how to implement a particular new
software system. At the end of the presentation they openly admitted
there was no job - they just wanted free advice from people that had
already done it. They said that because they are a council, they
couldn't afford real consultancy so that made it OK. Hmm - I wonder
if Reigate and Banstead Borough Council would try to sue me if I added
it was them? Me, bitter?)
