Another nail in the ID card coffin

Long turnaround processing delays make it difficult to operate a real-time
board/no board checking system. This for only a small number of individuals
moving between UK/Hong Kong/UAE, if the service cannot cope for these few
movements, how can an ID card be expected to provide real time data for
millions?
