Huddersfield Beer Festival
It's Huddersfield Beer Festival this weekend and they are using an
interesting new venue which is the Sikh temple near the Grove Inn.

The catering could be interesting!

More at

but no beer list sadly.

I think it's actually in the adjoining leisure centre.
Don't expect to see many Sikhs, because they'll all be hiding. (Hiding
Sikhs - geddit!!)

Regarding Oxenhope, but not the festival, can you please
tell me of some local pubs that are open daily? When in West
Yorks, we often walk the loop from Haworth over the tops to
Oxenhope, then along the tracks and river back to
Haworth. We used to trudge up the hill to the Wagon and
Hosses, but since the brewer left (a few years ago) it's
not worth the trudge. But else, the few pubs we come across
down in the village seem mostly shut. Keep thinking we
ought find a pub by the station, but no luck.

Can you help??? It's a long walk back to Haworth without
a brew.
