Oxford City Centre
Hi Folks
Looking for the pick of the GBG pubs in Oxford City Centre that also have
good food.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks

Of the ones in the 2009 Guide, I have eaten at The King's Arms, The Rose
and Crown, The Turf Tavern and The White Horse, and can recommend all of
them.
The White Horse does large portions of good plain food, while The Rose
and Crown is noted for its sausage and mash. The food at both of The
Gardener's Arms is recommended by the Guide.
There is a new pub in St Ebbs Street (corner of Brewer Street), The
Royal Blenheim. Owned by Everards and leased to The White Horse Brewery,
it does a wonderful range of good ales at a fair price, and there are
reviews on Beer In the Evening which mention the good food.
Roy.

Many thanks Roy.
Only there for the day so unfortunately won't have too much time to sample
each pub so recommendations are appreciated.
Cheers
