West Drayton Pubs??
On our way home, our last night is at a B&B in
West Drayton, near the airport. Real close is
The Six Bells pub. Any reports?? Any other
suggested pubs in West Drayton for a pint and
a meal??

Be worried, be Very Worried. West Drayton and Yiewsley are not the
best areas in the world. Take advice from the provider of your
lodgings.

King William IV in Sipson used to be good but you'll need a cab.
Whte Hart in Harlington might be OK these days (run by English Inns
which are fairly predicable) - again a cab ride.

I'd suggest getting a cab or bus to Uxbridge. For beer, the Three
Tuns is good, also the Metropolitan. The Good Yarn does cheap beer
and mediocre food. I can recommend the Indian Restaurant in Windsor
Street. I'm told that Martin's Place in the same road is also quite
respectable. On the High Street there's the Nona Rosa and if you
*really* want to push the boat out, Rucola under the Denham Lodge
tower block get good reports. There are lots of other eating houses
and watering holes.
