I wouldn't be too surprised if Stalybridge and Dewsbury were on also.

Yes, filmed in Dewsbury then Huddersfield then Stalybridge, then back to
Dewsbury where they were seen to be feeling the effects!
I just hope they haven't had to edit it down too much to avoid the
phone-camera pointing crowds who had somehow found out beforehand!

Re: Oz and James drink to Britain
Just watched it tonight - not a bad at all - I know it's part "docu",
part "drama" (like the paper bag that the camera was firmly focussed
on accidentally spilling malt inside the precious car! & James May
buying Oz a Foster's just to annoy him) but pretty fun, informative &
"good beer positive".
More of the same, I hope.
cheers

I was a bit disappointed that they went straight from Dover to Yorkshire in
search of ale without having a couple of pints from the UK's oldest brewery.
Do Shepherd Neame brew a bad ale?

When I lived in Canterbury, some beery locals had all sorts of
derogatory & scatological names for SN's beers, but I thought them OK.
I especially loved the Porter coming round each year.
That said, with HopDaemon, Whitstable, Gadd's, Larkin's, Westerham &
others, there's definitely Kent beer I'd rather drink!
cheers

(ex of the short-lived Great Stour Brewery, a 'u-brew'/brew-on-premise
brewery, Canterbury - we had a very good German braumeister from
Shepherd Neame as our consultant - he was on secondment at Shep's from
Kaltenberg while they tried to perfect a brewed-under-licence weißbier
- to good effect I heard, not sure if it still exists though)

The Tan Hill pubs is the only thing up there except the
Pennine Way so it must be the pub. In my several visits
I do not remember their own ales. Maybe it's a new thing??

Martin: Right.
Samantha: Yeah.
Martin: Okay.
Samantha: Goodnight.

\Samantha: Martin?
\\Samantha: You know how you said we should get a drink sometime?
