OT Where can I find a decnt chest freezer?
My freezer is playing up, the thermostat seems to have failed and it is one
all the time, which makes ice cream form into a brick!

I don't mind if it a chest freezer or an upright one, but the selection is
minimal, and the prices are way to high.

So where, close to Windsor or Slough can I find one?

Yellow Pages are your friend unless you want to go down the second-hand
route in your local newspaper - there just might be someone who wants to
sell a perfectly good freezer (if their parents just died)

Check that the parents aren't in the freezer. It happens.

I'd have thought that Internet is his friend. E-bay or

You owe me a new keyboard.
I took a mouthful of tea just before I read that.

Better than a heart attack when Alan gets home with his bargain frozen chest.

Alan, don't know what price range or size you are looking for but
google for freezers + Curry's, or Comet, or Tesco even B&Q or
Sainsbury's most of them do a 'by price' sort.
