It was actually the Piccadilly Line (I rarely use the Northern Line - no 
reason except for convenience), so if you could possibly kindly tell me 
who I should contact that would be great.  All I know about the lady is 
that she has short blond hair and is very bubbly.

She wasn't over-the-top, although I can see some people may find any 
talking at all irritating.  It's nice to be told what is going on.  A 
favourite trick at Arnos Grove is to have a train waiting on platform 3, 
with the sign lit up saying it is the next train out.  Another train 
comes in on Platform 4 and the lighted sign goes out, so everyone 
disembarks from the train on Platform 3 and boards the one on 4.  No 
announcement is made.  The train on Platform 3 sometimes goes out first 
and sometimes it doesn't.  It would be nice to be told.  I don't think 
that is difficult.
