It was actually the Piccadilly Line (I rarely use the Northern Line - no
reason except for convenience), so if you could possibly kindly tell me
who I should contact that would be great. All I know about the lady is
that she has short blond hair and is very bubbly.

She wasn't over-the-top, although I can see some people may find any
talking at all irritating. It's nice to be told what is going on. A
favourite trick at Arnos Grove is to have a train waiting on platform 3,
with the sign lit up saying it is the next train out. Another train
comes in on Platform 4 and the lighted sign goes out, so everyone
disembarks from the train on Platform 3 and boards the one on 4. No
announcement is made. The train on Platform 3 sometimes goes out first
and sometimes it doesn't. It would be nice to be told. I don't think
that is difficult.
