Too many variables, such as the heat of the room in the first place 
etc.  But if you don't enjoy the end result from a micro-wave, it's 
costing you too much anyway, IMO!

Not this time cos David isn't well and he needs it.  Usually I will allow it

Just to add... I made real suet dumplings with it and we are about to eat 
the remainder even as we speak:))

I made the chicken soup exactly as you said, it is delicious, my
husband ate the meat of the chicken plus broth and veggies and I had
the broth with the veggies in as I'm not too partial to very much
meat.  I think it is very nourishing and full of protein.  I wonder
how well does it freeze as I made a big pot full?  Anyway thank you O,
I have added that to my loose leaf cookery book.  Any chance you could
sort it out and do a bit of A to Z as it is very difficult to find
anything  :-)
