Food Waste
British consumers throw away 1/3 of food they buy!! This is a
staggering amount and should be decreased!
Therefore I'm doing a research how British consumers can reduce their
food waste. Please be a part of my research and surf to the following
link and complete the questionnaire.

The outcome of the research will be proposed to the supermarkets and
government.
Thank you so much.

1) I doubt that the food (or the amount of the same) staggers.
It might get a bit niffy, but it's never going to stagger.*
2) They flush away a lot more than 1/3 of it anyway!
Having said the above, I'm guilty of it, usually when I see
BOGOF or similar offers in Sainsbury's. Recently there were
packets of 6 white hot dog rolls for 59p, or 3 for a pound,
IIRC. I bought the 3 packets, and only ever opened and used
one.
Also, their hot dog rolls are rubbish. I try (hard) to cut into
them so that the rolls open just enough to get the sausage and other
fillings in, but not too much, in which case they kind of split
open completely at the bottom, and the "hot dog" has to be
eaten with a knife and fork. They need to be a little longer,
and better engineered. In fact, optimally-pre-cut-open would
be best. And still white; none of that wholemeal "including
sweepings from the factory floor" nonsense.

* Yes, I _hate_ this wrong use of the verb "(to) stagger".

You could have put all the others in the freezer!
