wheat grass
£18 a jar in Waitrose, reduced to 80p "one teaspoon equal to a large
serving of a green vegetable" in water it looks like ,well, a glass of
blended grass cuttings. Carol has it at Borough blended with cucumber,
spinach etc. On its own?
"consistency of mud", "sludgy" were first reactions.

my reaction was I will stick with the large portion of veg, chips probably.

I think people hide it in things. My choice is tomates. I bought 2 kilos
yesterday from the Pugiese farmers.

Am now working with a food-crazed Beit from afar and we are leading up to
doing food tours (me) in Puglia. He wants to start a British sausage
kingdom in Italy.

It was a health food a few years ago. I never thought it was for real
food.

I've never wanted to try it but isn't wheat grass something that people
grow for themselves on windowsills, like herbs? I think I've seen pots
of sprouted grass for sale.

I know two people who grow their own wheatgrass and combine it in
veg juices. They are both in remission from cancer and following
ultra-healthy diets.
