Recession and takeaway
Oh - I can't believe it.

The best restaurant/takeaway in the world (well, my world) has just ceased
to exist. First the refurbishment notice went up (yeah, right) then the
landlord's 14 day notice.

It's devastating - I've never encountered a takeaway/restaurant that was so
consistently great with only one duff curry in 10 years. I'm lost for words.
Everywhere else in my locality is crap by comparison (and far more
expensive). It had become a weekend and (occasional) mid week ritual -
incredible food that has no equal (at least locally).

The Government's racist migrant labour policy didn't help. Nor did its
incompetent economic and financial policy.

Bad luck! It's such a shame when a local gem vanishes. Maybe time to
start making more curry from scratch?

Well, I guess you'll have to make your own then :-)
