mutton hyderabad recipe?
hi,
visiting a new indian restaurant here in cologne we had
a dish they called "mutton hyderabad", which was simply
excellent.
i never heard that term before, so i wonder if it was just
made up by the restaurant or is a common dish around
that area of india.
it was mutton pieces in a thick curry sauce with loads
(that means LOADS) of mint in it. it smelled and tasted
like mint a lot, making it a refreshing dish even with that
thick gravy.
couldn´t find anything on the web, maybe someone here
knows more? thx in advance!
bye

It is an authentic Indian dish.
It isn't terribly popular in India these days because it has a great deal of
oil in it.
It should be served with loads of very hot chilli in the masala.

The only Mutton Hyderebad recipe that I could find in my Indian
published books was a keema dish that had no mint in it. Sorry. I will
have another look tomorrow and see if I can locate one in some of the
English books

The only Mutton Hyderebad recipe that I could find in my Indian
published books was a keema dish that had no mint in it. Sorry. I will
have another look tomorrow and see if I can locate one in some of the
English books

It is an authentic Indian dish.
It isn't terribly popular in India these days because it has a great deal of

It should be served with loads of very hot chilli in the masala.

It is an authentic Indian dish.
It isn't terribly popular in India these days because it has a great deal of
oil in it.
It should be served with loads of very hot chilli in the masala.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

The only Mutton Hyderebad recipe that I could find in my Indian
published books was a keema dish that had no mint in it. Sorry. I will
have another look tomorrow and see if I can locate one in some of the
English books
