<quotes>
In a recent speech [*], McChrystal asked his audience a simple question: If
10 insurgents are operating in an area and you kill two, how many are left?
If you answer eight, you're probably wrong.
The more likely answer, he said, would be 20, "because each one you killed
has a brother, father, son and friends, who do not necessarily think that
they were killed because they were doing something wrong. It does not
matter - you killed them"

Well there we have it ... General Stanley McChrystal, Commander,
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Commander, US Forces
Afghanistan, "top-dog", former Green Beret, Ranger and Special Ops
commander, who's led and done his fair share of killing in the field, saying
exactly what many in this group have been saying for years.
It appears that despite demonisation and ridicule for holding such views
from the Right it seems we were absolutely, 100%, right. Some how, "told you
so", seems a little under-stated.
[*] International Institute of Strategic Studies, General Stanley McChrystal
Address, 1 October 2009 - Which contains a lot more 'liberal', 'communist',
'leftwing', 'terrorist supporting', 'defeatist', 'no idea about warfare',
'nonsense'. I wonder if Obama knows he's got an 'OBL butt-kissing, al-Qaeda
loving, Islamist shill' in charge of ISAF ? Or maybe, just maybe, those who
said members of this group had got it so wrong, were completely wrong
themselves ? C'est la vie. Not surprising most have skulked off with their
tails between their legs.
